You want to reorder the steps. You want to delete a step that doesn't belong. You want to add a step that the recording didn't capture. You want to draw an arrow on a screenshot. All four are quick edits in the editor. No re-upload, no minutes spent.
Meta moment. Like all our walkthroughs, the steps below are themselves a ReplayDoc flow we recorded ourselves. Watch how the editor handles reorder, delete, add-step, and annotate.

Tips
- Click "Edit" first. Reorder, delete, and "Add step" controls only show up in edit mode. Click "Edit" at the top right of any flow page to reveal them, then "Done" to exit.
- Add a manual step when the AI couldn't see what you saw. The AI can only extract from what's in the recording. For screens the viewer just reads, explanations between two clicks, or reminders to check something, add the step yourself.
- Annotations don't lock in. Re-open the editor on any annotated step. Your shapes, arrows, and text are still there to tweak or delete.
- Arrows + rectangles + text labels read cleanest. Freehand works but reads scribbly. Reach for the same shapes you'd use in any markup tool. Pointing at a button is what readers expect.
